Joshua Milligan is a Hall of Fame Tableau visionary (formerly known as Zen Master). His passion is training, mentoring, and helping people gain insights and make decisions based on their data through data visualization using Tableau.

In his career Joshua has grown from a software developer to Principal Consultant, most recently functioning as Lead Tableau Architect at Resultant (formerly Teknion Data Solutions, acquired in 2022). Combining deep technical expertise in Tableau, visual analytics, data modeling, and AI integration, he pursued analytics with a team building an enterprise data warehouse and partnered with FP&A, Accounting, Sales, Talent, and Executives to enable insights and actions from the enterprise data.
Joshua served as technical reviewer on several Tableau titles and is the author of the book Learning Tableau.

Thank you for this video – and thank you for giving us depth, insight and pitfalls of data analysis. I love the story diagram which reminding me of my 8th grade English class with Mrs. Turowski… she referred to the part of the story after the climax and before the conclusion as – denouement (fancy French word) when matters are explained leading to the conclusion.
